Hello,



I have a dish net work dish and the and 2 "eyes that came from 2

direct tv dishs. does anyone know if i use the "eyes" for the direct tv

dishs on the dish network dish with a dish network box, if once i

signed up would work to get dish network? hope my questoin makes sence.

Assuming by "eyes" you mean LNBFs, no. DISH uses L/R polarization, while

DirecTV use circular polarization.

around hear if you signup for Dish they provide the antenna and the receivers and install them.

Right or left polarization is circular polarization.Linear is

vertical/horizontal.I think the Direct TV uses reverse lnbfs.I

have heard that there is'nt a way to make them work for Dish or FTA.
