Hi group,

Let me present to you the first light image obtained with my new TEC

140ED APO recently -

M101 + NGC 5474 + many other galaxies in the field in Ursa Major.

67% - tinyurl.com/42sdu3

TEC 140ED APO + FF

Nikon D50a, 6x20m + 4x10m = 2h 40m total, ISO 1600

autoguided on EQ-6 SynScan

All in one - I'm very impressed by TEC 140+FF performance.

Nikon D50 senson is evenly illuminated, stars are pinpoint accross

the field which are not surprises 'cause as Yuri said this

combination should cover field of view of the big Pentax cameras,

~2.4x2.4 inches.

Optics and mechanical finish are all excellent, Feathertouch 3545

focuser with MotorFocus are great thing to use. There are no

detectable shifts or flexures observed on 20 minutes exposures.

Great combo for astroimaging!

Yuri, let me say a big thanks to you and the whole TEC team for such

amazing product!

Amazing photo!

I am in the midst of debating if I should get the TEC140. Need to sort

out the cash issue and hopefully I will find out in a few days
