After a long time of work I am finally done with ALFAT. I used ARM

chip and programmed it with full FAT file system where you can send

SPI or UART(serial) commands to it and it will save FAT files to

many kinds of medias SD, MMC, CF and hard disks!

There is an interesting applicaton for this: over on the FPGA-CPU

group someone wants to build a computer as a senior project. One

thing that is apparently required is a demonstration including some

type of OS and a method for saving programs.



Coupled with your project they can implement a simple serial port

and use ALFAT for cold start loading as well as a file system.



You didn't say what you intended to do with your project. Sell it,

post it in the public domain...
