Blinking of Panel in beacon mode

Hi, I am running Multipsk in beacon mode every 300

seconds for a path test DL -> VK; I realized that

the timing is not what I want:

*21/03/2009 10:55:01 UTC* Path Test de DL7JP in JN68rn...

*21/03/2009 11:00:55 UTC* Path Test de DL7JP in JN68rn...

*21/03/2009 11:06:49 UTC* Path Test de DL7JP in JN68rn...

*21/03/2009 11:12:43 UTC* Path Test de DL7JP in JN68rn...

*21/03/2009 11:18:38 UTC* Path Test de DL7JP in JN68rn...

The Beacon pauses for 300 sec. after TX, which is according to

the specification, but I would prefer to have the Beacon TX at

a predictable time, e.g. 11:00, 11:05, 11:10, etc.

Is there a way to do this?

73, Joachim.

PS: I case anyone is curious: It's an Olivia 16-500 Beacon at

10.147 MHz, 50W into 2 x 15m Dipol, running (most of) today

and tomorrow.

There is no good solution. I will fix this so as to transmit at predictable

time.

RR. At about 1000 Hz AF?

Thanks, this would be great!

10.147 is the Olivia center frequency; thus, 10.146 Dial + 1000 Hz AF.

Gday to the group.                           Just an email to the group (and to you Patrick) to say when in beacon mode theblinking function (which is optional) of the panel is fantastic. I run sixmonitors in my shack and the blinking panel gets my attentionimmediately. Thank you Patrick Graeme VK4RD
