Welcome to the longest existing bug in Maxim that I know about. Over a year ago

I did several hours of tests on this problem and discovered an easy workaround

for this *real* bug. My understanding is that the folk at Maxim know all about

it now (I detailed exactly what was going on), but other than that, I do not

know. My equipment is waiting for delivery of a new observatory at my new

residence, so I cannot do anything for at least two months.....

Lawrence,

I am interested in what your simple fix was. I don't know if this problem has anything to do with my Lodestar issue but i find it very interesting that the Lodestar gets a clean full chip image and then when Maximit takes the subframe to lock onto the star it loses every other line of info. It makes me hopeful that if one problem is solved my problem may be solved as well. I submitted a support ticket so we shall see.
