Hi Everyone,

I've reached a crossroads of sorts. I need to move from Windows 2000

to Windows XP and wanted to know how this is going to affect my copy

of MaxIm DL?

My license expired in February and I need to know if my old license

key is going to let me re-install the last version available to me

before the license expired once I have XP up and running or am I

going to need to renew the license so that I can re-install what I'm

already running, in Windows XP.

I'm not a lover of doing the upgrade route from 2000 to XP since I've

done it on a number of machines with mediocre success.

Any help would be appreciated.

TOM

Tom,

Your key should work fine; I had to do two or three destructive

restarts on this computer with XP. I had a virus that Norton did not stop. I

had to reload everything from scratch. Thank goodness I had my data backed

on an external hard drive. You can go the MaxIm site and down load the

latest version you were on when the license expired. I think I am on 4.54

when mine expired.

Yes. Just install the last version available to you, enter the license, and

you're good to go!

Tom, I have upgraded my observing/processing PCs over the past year and

have reinstalled MaxIm/DL without an issue. The key that came with the

purchase works just fine on XP. Not sure about Vista.

Has any tried MaxIm/DL on Vista? Are the any issues?
