Hi all,

Have one question regarding my SXV guider and MaximDL software.

The problem i have is that when i calibrate, all works fine, However

when i start to track, i physically have to update the Y coordinate

adding 32 pixels to centre my star. Althought doing this provides good

performance, is there an update which will avoid having to change the

y manually?

Thanks

Regards

Jason

Hi Jason,

This is a bug in the camera firmware and can be corrected by uploading the latest version. Please go to www.starlight-xpress.co.uk/Terry/Guiderfix/ and download the zip file for your camera. Just follow the included instructions and the offset will be removed.

Regards,

Terry

Hi Fabio,

No, don't update your camera firmware - the guiding problem referred to affects only the older SXV range, not the SXVF version.

Terry
