I just have a quick question. If I have a older version of Maxim DL 5 and I decide to buy a new camera that's not listed, Do I need to buy a upgraded version of Maxim or is there a quick free update for that?

It helps when you list the camera you "Upgraded" to.

I didn't think that would matter one bit, Sorry.

Lets say a Canon 60D, Orion StarShoot G3, Celestron Nightscape. I have Maxim 5.07 BTW.

For what it's worth, I have ver. 5.18 and see settings for the EOS 60D

and Celestron Nightshade -- but not the Orion SSG3. But that doesn't

mean anything -- some settings only show up when the proper drivers are

installed and/or the proper camera is connected. And some cameras share

settings with other models and the program doesn't list out each and

every model that actually works. For example, there are only a couple

of SBIG cameras listed specifically in the program -- but the program

supports just about every SBIG ever made.

Doug can tell you exactly which cameras are presently supported, will

soon be supported, and how much (if anything) it will cost to update.
