Questions on DSLR cameras.

Hi Doug,

The Canon 30D DSLR has a mirror lock up feature, but it is done under

camera firmware control.

When enabled the first pressing of the shutter release button raises the

mirror and the second pressing operates the shutter. The mirror returns

at the end of the exposure.

Does the Mirror Settle Time use this feature?

If not, how about a selectable feature to send a double shutter command

to the camera from MaxIm DSLR to use it?

I also have a question regarding DSLR usage with MaxIm. I have been

using an ST-7

+ CFW8 as the guiding camera for imaging with my Canon 30D. When I first

tried to set up, the Sequence set-up window was showing filter

selection, not ISO. I eventually found I had selected SBIG Universal

filters thinking that would apply to the ST-7 but apparently it was

applied the the Canon. How can one control the ST-7 filter wheel under

these circumstances?

Regards,

Kevin Cooper.
