I have an ST7, and I have a couple of questions concerning camera

control:

1. In the cooling section, what does "warm-up" mean. Is there a heater

in the camera, or does it just turn off the cooling, like "cooler off"

2. I have an AO7. If I want to use the AO7 for L images, and then

switch to the standard guiding for color filters. Do I just disconnect,

select the other camera and reconnect? I assume that is the way, but

what about the fact that the camera is cooled to -15?

No, it ramps it up. Not that it really matters; even if you kill the power on

an ST-7 it won't experience thermal shock.

No. Just configure the main Guider selection to "Same as Main Camera". You can

just switch back and forth between the Guide Tab and the AO-7 control, without

changing any settings. Stop one, start the other.

thanks Doug!

One more question: When selecting a camera, do I select "SBIG

Universal or SBIG with AO?

You must select the AO driver, if you want to use AO.
