Doug,

When measuring the shutter latency of my Meade 416XT on SCSI I followed the

process and obtained a consistent number of 1.3 seconds!! I then tried the

same with a sequence and the results were consistently different (1.9 sec).

By stopwatch the duration from the end of one exposure (the wav sound) to

the shutter "click" is about 1.9 seconds. Is the 1.3 seconds still the

correct on to use?

I found that I had to use an exposure of about 1.2 seconds as the numbers

disappeared and the help text returned prior to the shutter opening with

anything shorter than this. This made the screen a jumble of numbers and

help text! The "simulator" camera worked correctly.

I honestly don't know... those Meade cameras are verrrry strange.

That's weird; we'll have to try that here.
