I am setting up a new computer to act as my imaging machine and wonder

if anyone can tell me which files I need to copy from one machine to

another to have focusmax work correctly without having to retrain the

focuser.

Thanks,

Bill

I think all that you need are the files under the "Data files"

directory in the FocusMax install directory.

Bill,

Download the latest FocusMax V 3.2.1 from www.focusmax.org . Do the usual

install using the downloaded .msi file.

Copy the entire contents of directory:

C:\Program Files\FocusMax\Data Files\

from the old computer to the new computer. This has all your V Curve

information.

The new machine will not have the old registry information which stores such

things as the positions of the windows or the last focuser that you used,

but you will have all of the critical slopes and V Curve data for all of

your focusers.
