hello,

I have a question and perhaps a bug on 5.09

First my question, when I solve a image took before the meridian with pinpoint I have for example a rotation of +337. and the image after the meridian have a rotation angle of +158.. I don't change anything between this two image I only returne my scope for crossing the meridian.

I see that the difference is around 180. is this normal?

And now my bug, with 5.09 after around one hour guiding with my qhy5 cam I have a bug I have to close maxim and sometime to deconnect physicaly and reconnect my qhy5. I never add this issu in 5.08 I will try as soon as possible to make a test to see if this problem come from the 5.09 version.

Thank you

And sorry for my english

Hello,

thank Doug for your answer.

I don't have the time to investigate, perhaps this week end. I d'on't know if it could be the driver because I don't change it.

You did just rotate the camera 180 degrees...

It is unlikely to be MaxIm DL because we didn't make any changes in that area

between 5.08 and 5.09.. This sort of lockup usually comes from the driver side

of things.

If you have a GEM, the camera would have flipped 180deg

Hello,

this night I could do a test about the bug.

So everthing was good all the first part of night, the bug didn't appear, all 30 minutes I control the guiding and the focus on the computer. But a the end of the night the bug become again, at this moment I don't touch my computer from 1H30, and when I arrive to control the result I saw that the qhy5 cam work well, it take picture of the guiding star, the error was report on the camera control windows and the corrections were apply but the error graph didn't show anything, the were no curve. And then maxim dl stop working and it closed, I open it again and all worked good.

Is the problem could become from a modification on the error graph?

I'm not sure that become from the driver because with the exactly same setup with v5.08 I never had this issu. And I try before last night to reinstal all the driver.

I hope that wath I want to tell is understable.

Thank you

best regard

vince
