I have begun to use MaxIm DL to stack images.
The images are from a color ccd camera. Before opening the images
in MaxIm, they have already been calibrated, de-Bayered, normalized,
graded and aligned.
I have been using the SD Mask method to stack the images. Once
completed, the combined image is displayed on the screen. It has
been stretched by MaxIm and is always predominently green. I save
the image as a 16-bit TIFF file. When I strech the histogram in PS
there is a large bias toward green.
Can I assume that the stacking function in MaxIm is NOT contributing
to this green bias? The "stretched" image that opens in MaxIm after
