Using..

- QHY8

- Maxim/DL-CCD 5.06

- QHY8 ASCOM drivers from www.astrosoft.be/

when I go to take an exposure (120 seconds) maximdl jumps immediately to "downloading image" then waits two minutes.

I'm pretty sure it does a 2 minute exposure, but why doesnt the countdown work?

Is this a bug in the astrosoft driver?

Or an ascom issue?

thanks for any info.. it works, but I'd like to know how long it far along it is in the exposure.

Also.. will the autoguider dither work ok if it jumps to downloading immediately? (IIRC, maximdl will dither _after_ the image has been downloaded - i.e. it dithers during the "exposure delay".)

thanks

jeff
