Hi

I've looked around for how to setup Pulseguide with a Paramount ME and am at

a loss

I found some info Doug posted about advanced settings but am not sure which

option to select

My setup is

Paramount ME controlled via TheSkyX and of course MaximDL

In the Guide Dialog. Setting for the Autoguider Output (control via)

selection.

I see Microguide and ASCOM would it be either one of those?

Can anyone share settings for their Paramount ME to help get me going

please?

Thank you

Sandra

Telescope is the usual setting. You also need to enable PulseGuide in the

ASCOM

TheSky-Controlled Telescope driver.

Perhaps Doug can help with this. I have just been trying to set up Pulse Guide for my Paramount ME and followed the directions. All is well with the setup (not yet tested) except with "Telescope" selected in Guider Settings "Enable Simultaneous X and Y" is greyed out

For info Windows XP3, V5.18, ASCOM6, TheSky 6

Its greyed out because dual axis mode is not available via ASCOM PulseGuide.

Thanks Doug

I was looking at your post in November 2010 on this subject which seemed to recommend enabling it. I tried an autoguider calibration this evening with no sucess at all. Perhaps if you are still using PulseGuide with your ME you could tell me the settings which work for you.

Regards

john
