Does anyone know how to invoke "pulse guiding" with Maxim driving the new Gemini.net driver? It is said to be more accurate than using the camera relays as it directs movements by a certain number of motor encoder pulses. There is some chatter on this on the Gemini_Ascom_Driver forum. I would think you would select "Telescope" instead of "Relays" in the Guide Using selection box.

Does anyone have any experience with this or opinions?

No Randy. Now pay attention, You do NOT select "telescope", you select "Ascom Direct", and I can tell you that it works absolutely fantastically.

Isn't this forum a great place to get answers!
