I am using the RAW To Hard Drive readout option with Maxim DL 5.02 and

a Canon 400D DSLR. I noticed that Maxim also offers a "RAW color" and

"RAW monochrome" readout mode within the autosave dialog box.

Can anyone explain the difference between the RAW to Hard Drive, RAW

Monochrome and RAW Color Options? I suspect that the RAW Monochrome is

for cameras with a monochrome chip and that the RAW Color performs

color conversion prior to storing the image.
