Hi,I am writing an app in vb,net to manage image files.I use the ProcessStartInfo command to preview a file in Maxim. However, if you open a number of files, a new instance of Maxim is opened for each.In Windows explorer you can select a number of image files, right-click and they are opened into a single instance of Maxim.I have tried with a list of files with various delimiters, but cannot get it to work.Anyone that can help?

You-need to declare a Maxim.Document object -for example Private MyDoc As New Maxim.Document- for each separate file you would like to open, and then use MyDoc.OpenFile(FilePath) as indicated in the scripting section of the manual.

Thanks very much.I will give it a bash and see if it opens them in a single session of Maxim.

You are better off using the COM API.Add a reference to MaxIm DL.Exe so you get IntelliSense. The APIis in MaxIm Help, Scripting. Then you will be able to use itsawesome API, and you won't need to know where it is on disk, youwill be able to support its side-by-side installation of V5/V6where the last one started is the one that the API talks to, etc. Many many benefits. Do a "New MaxIm.Document", then callOpenFile(). on it, etc.
