Pluto

Just to pass on an image I took this past Monday night, when seeing was

exceptional. This shot was really made possible with the use of the Gemini

system, since the brightest star in the region is tenth magnitude. It was

actually fairly easy to do once I was set up and aligned.

This was the third of three Pluto images I took on successive nights (so I

could confirm by blinking the images.)

Scope was a Tak FS102, camera was an ST-7, and exposure time was 5 minutes.

You can see it at www.teleport.com/~argo/pluto.jpg
