Tom, if you have a good PEC programmed, keep it on during guiding -- it'll help.

Once properly trained, PEC should be on when you autoguide. The reason is

that your autoguider will make fewer corrections; and when it does make

corrections, they will be smaller and faster than without PEC operating.
