I have uploaded a file of the block diagram of an audio sweep generator I am building using parts on hand. I have made the 46.55 and 46.65mc oscilators and mixer to get the fixed 100kc. I have made the voltage controlled 100 to 120 kc mutivibrator and square to sine converter. I used an old motorola motrac radio oscillator for the 5 mc with a 5mc crystal from mouser electronics put in it. I have breadboarded the 5mc buffer with 2 outputs. I have been using lt spice to design some of the circuits and so far things have been working out according to the simulations. The voltage controlled oscillator shows good linearity from 100 to 120 kc with a 2 volt spread. I would like to make a sawtooth generator that ramps up over a period of 1 second to sweep the entire audio range. I am using all discrete components to build this. I will post diagrams as I progress.
