Hi at all,



with the original software from baofeng , it's possible setting a frequency with the encode ctcss ONLY ?



Seem the program need both encoding and decoding tone for saving : exist a trick?

No trick needed. The program fills in OFF for both when you enter the receive frequency. Just change the second one, "CTCSS/DCS Enc", to the tone frequency you need. When you click on it, it has a drop down list from which to select the frequency. After that, see below.



One litle "trick" is anytime you want to click on another square to check the entry you just made but not change anything in the other square, you can click on the channel number in the first column of any row (that can't be changed so it won't alter the value). Unfortunately the program doesn't allow you to move from square to square with either the arrow keys or the tab key, so you need to use the mouse.
