Hi group,

I have mounted my AP 130 GT on my AP900 GTO mount, and am using the AP 0.75x reducer now. Using my 7 year old ST10XME, I revisited the horsehead nebula. The link shows my earlier effort with an AP Traveler and the same camera over 6 years ago.

Advantages of the new photo:

Better mount,

Better skies,

Longer exposures,

More experience,

Bigger scope.

Nice control of Zeta! That had to be quite to repair job.

The challenge is to suppress the bloom without looking too artificial. Would have been easier with an antiblooming camera, but that is on my other AP scope....(to be continued).
