Maybe anybody if not Roland can give an answer to my question:

I use an older 2" AP 2x barlow together with my 4" f/6.2 APO

refractor for imaging the sun with the 10D DSLR. Is there any

significant image degration to expect when I increase the distance

from my barlow to the focal plane (with an extension tube) to come to

a magnification factor of 4?

Thanks, Stefan, I know this nice product, the only problem is that it

punches a big hole in my pocket,
