Hi all

I've just purchased a used 130EDFGT.I'm wondering if anyone else is using this instrument with the FLI CFW-2-7 and ML8300. If so I'd appreciate knowing exactly which adapters are needed to maintain correct distance with the AP flattener and telecompressor.

thanks

Graeme

There are no off the shelf adapters I know of. You will require custom adapters to be made.

1) Go here: www.preciseparts.com and jump to the faq section. Scan through everything there and READ the sections listed under "Adapter Effective Length", especially the subsection "How can I figure out the adapter length required?"

2) Play with the online adapter design tool - it is pretty straightforward.

Once you know approximately what you need, contact Ashley with PreciseParts to confirm spacing. He will know pretty much exactly what you require once you give him the Astro-Physics and FLI part numbers and descriptions.
