Hi all,

I was a bit groggy from a couple of evenings out imaging saturn, but

the nice blue skies and tight jet contrails seduced me into pulling

out the solar scope before work this morning. I'm glad I did...

I hope the limb stays active for the NEAF solar star party!

have a great weekend,

Alan

Alan,

Great image capture. It's nice to see some activity on the sun. It sure is dead in white light!

I'm working on my hangover as I write; pulling three late nighters imaging M51 with my 12.5" RCOS from Mount Wilson. So many galaxies, so little sleep ;-)

Regards,

Dave

Hi Alan,

Wonderfult capture once again! There is a LOT of activity recently. Yesterday the 17th was clouded out for me but the previous day, April 16th was excellent with great seeing for a period of time and a lot to see. Three major active prominence regions around the disk. I hope there are clear skies at NEAF.

Alan,

We miss you here at NEAF. Today was pretty good for solar observing, though the clouds were in and out. Hope we see you here next year!
