Just uploaded the 4.11 firmware to my keypad. When I check the time, the

GMT time is -1hr!! I live at +8GMT Long and I checked my time at 7am

here. Is this normal? The time should have been 23hr. I never had this

problem before.

The time portion of the software has never changed. Please check all your

settings, location, time, daylight savings, etc. One of them is off by 1 hour.

Hello Roland,

All my setting are okay. I don't have any daylight savings. It's just

weird to have GMT with a negative number... I upgraded from v4.07 and I

never had this problem before. I did not change my setting during the upgrade.

Chris

Hello Roland,

I was wondering if you can duplicate my problem in your keypad. Here are my

info:

Long: 123E

Lat : 10N

Time Zone: 8

No DST

My problem is not that the GMT time is off by one hour. But the GMT

displays a NEGATIVE number. Instead of 23:00 it displays -1:00. I assume

that this means the day before?

Chris

What version of the keypad were you running before you upgraded to

version 4.11? If you upgrade from 4.06 or earlier, you have to go

through some extra steps (post-load checklist) as stated in the

instructions.

Dear Christopher,

I entered your data below into v4.07 and the GMT displays at -1 in that

version also. There must be an error in the calculation for GMT in all

versions 4.07 and higher. Since GMT is for display purposes only, it

will not affect the function of your mount. We will add this to our bug

list and have Charles fix it when he returns from vacation. I apologize

for your inconvenience and confusion. Thanks for finding it.
