Apart from optional absolute encoders and higher payload, how does the 1600 differ from Mach1? What's really new that we have not seen yet in the AP mounts?

Mechanics are more robust. The worm/worm wheel mesh adjustment is somewhat

different, quite effective and still simple to do. All the wiring is

internal, but mount still comes apart for portable applications - one person setup.
