Today, we started the notification process for the 1200GTO list. This

production run is already well underway - we have parts everywhere!

We expect the first mounts of this run to ship in January.

Please go to www.astro-physics.com/availability/not_update.htm for

additional information.

We plan to announce the next production runs for the telescopes later

this year or early next year. We will begin the notification process

for the 900GTO in a few months. The next 600EGTO and 400GTO

production runs have not been scheduled yet.

You are a lucky guy! You're going to love that mount. (I've had mine almost

9 months.)

I just got my email notification, but since I received a 900GTO a few

months ago I just canceled my 1200 order. So someone's gonna get one

a little quicker :-)

When did you put your name on The List?

I'm wondering what my odds are this time around.

I applied 7/2000; no e-mail so far... :-(

I signed up on January 9, 2000.

Good luck!

I signed up in late March of 2000 and have not been notified. But the

process can take a month or two. For example, based on the date Marj said

600EGTO notifications had begun early this year, and the date of my 600EGTO

notification email, two months (IIRC) had passed. So take heart, if could be

a month or two (or more) before the last notifications are made.

Jeff and all,

So far, we have notified people who have been on the 1200GTO list

from October '99 to early March 2000. We are giving people about 2

weeks to respond so this will be a slow process, probably longer than

two months.

If you are contacted and do not plan to order, please let us know

your intentions right away so that we can contact the next person on

the list. Many thanks,

Marj

I was contacted and ordered my new 1200GTO today, I got on the list

Jan.2000

Delivery around Feb.2002 . The timing for me is perfect as my new 9"

f2.5 Schmidt

should be done around Jan. All I need is more hours on the weekends for

machining.
