I don't directly know the answer to your question, but the Malco 360 Adapter

bolts without modification to the 10" AP Pier. Give Mal a call, he'll let

you know for sure.

Mark

Hello,

Does anyone happen to know if a Malco 360 Rotating pier plate will mount to

the 1200FSA (flat surface adapter)???

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks for the response,

I have talked to Mal and we need some help answering a question. The regular AP pier adapter has a depth of .585". This is the part that fits into the Flat Surface adapter. Malco says that their pier adapter is .625" deep and we need to know whether the 1200FSA (Flat Surface Adapter) will accomodate the extre 1/32" of depth on the Malco pier plate. Says the extra 1/32" can be machined off if needed but would rather not do it if we don't have to.

Thanks for the help,

Mike Krivsky

Anyone at all out there with a 1200FSA and able to tell me the

measurement from the top of the flat surface adapter to the inside

bottom? I need to know whether it is 5/8 inch exactly or if it has more

space then that. I would just measure mine but it's 200miles away from

me at the moment in my observatory.

Thanks!
