Hi All, After a week of imaging during variable clouds and periods of clear, I managed to get most of my Milky Way H-alpha mosaic. I still have to go back and re-shoot some of the noisier frames. www.astromart.com/common/image_popup.asp?image=/images/forums/821000-821999/821591.jpg&caption= This is a 6 panel mosaic starting from the Crescent nebula going south. Each panel consists of a number of 15 minute exposures, number depending on how clear the skies stayed during each imaging session (anywhere from 4 to 14 subs). There is a lot of stuff there. Have fun identifying it all. I will post a larger version in the Astromart Gallery.

I used the 130EDX with Quad TCC running at F4.6, STL11K CCD camera, guided on the Mach1 mounting.

Hi All, I finally finished the difficult task of glueing together 12 panels of the Milky Way. It covers an area from the Propeller nebula to the Tulip nebula in Cygnus. It show the complex hydrogen clouds of this area. This image is reduced to about 16% of its full resolution size (I will post a larger version on our AP website later)

Image taken with 130EDX refractor at F4.7 with the Quad TCC. Camera STL11K, Filter Astrodon 5nm H-alpha. Mount AP Mach1 mounting. Exposure between 1.5 and 3 hours per frame. www.astromart.com/common/image_popup.asp?image=/images/forums/822000-822999/822439.jpg&caption= Rolando

Sweet! Sweet! (Whistle whistle) impressive just for the effort of 12 panels but the image speaks for itself. What did you use to stitch it?
