Folks,
I am puzzled by the Aircft and Flight toolbar buttons. According to the
Help, they should bring up a list of either registrations or flight
numbers, and that part works. However, the Help goes on to say that if I
have Mode-S enabled (and this PC is working with The Beast), I can
double-click one of the entries and get a report, but for me, double
clicking does nothing.
Have I misunderstood the function, or am I not recording something which
that function relies on?
Thanks,
David

Those two are really legacy items from the days when ACARS was all that PP did. The "report" is a file of the ACARS messages for the callsign or flight number that you select.

Thanks, Bev. So as Mode-S messages will greatly outnumber ACARS messages,
and I'm not monitoring long distance flights over the ocean, I might as
well hide those buttons with Shift, left-click? Well, that's what I've
done.
Cheers,
David
