I recently updated to ACLog 3.3, in 3.0 the Stop Time would be auto-entered when I hit the Log QSO button or Enter key. It doesn't seem to do this in 3.3. Am I missing a setting somewhere? I have to go into Edit to manually fill in the Stop Time.

Any Ideas?

On the main screen, lower right, there's a button labled Manual. If youclick it, it should change to auto. In Auto it should automatically enterthe time when you log the qso.

Now to find if there's any place to alter the automatic 'C' when you click in the QSL received or sent box and replace it with 'L' and 'E'

Now to find if there's any place to alter the automatic 'C' whenyou click in the QSL received or sent box and replace it with 'L' and'E'

Confirmations downloaded from LOTW will automaticly place an L in the"Rcvd Conf By" box. It will also 'check' the QSL Rec box.

If you then receive a QSL card, unclicking the QSL Rec box and clickingagain will add the C, and leave the L in the RCVD box. (You

can have both L and C in the box at the same time).  If you'vealready received a card, downloading from LOTW should just add the L

to the C already in the box.

Thanks John, I was aware of what happens above. I don't track Cards, only Lotw and Eqsl. So I was wondering if there is somewhere I could eliminate the automatic C for Sent QSOs and replace it with L & E. I upload my QSOs after I'm done on the radio and I have to remove the C manually and replace it with EL. Not a big deal, just wondering if it could be done in code as an option or something.

Hi Andy, Instead of going to the Edit Form, first select all the QSOs you want to mark.  Then, from the man form, click Edit > Mark Selected QSO Records As > Sent / Rcvd and enter the value(s) you want to appear.  You'll be able to do them all at once and avoid the C.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the reply, really love your software. That is what I was basically doing. I was just trying to save a step or two by being able to set a default for sent QSOs. I guess I'll just leave well enough alone.

Hi Andy

If you're just uploading to LOTW, you don't need to manually check theqsl 'sent' box at all. After you upload, wait a few minutes and thendownload 'all since'. The download will include everything you justuploaded and will automatically place an L in the 'Sent Conf By' box.

I don't know if something similar works for eqsl, as I don't use thatservice.

Graham,

Let me expand the explanation of how the Time Off box works.

Where are you looking for the stop time?   After a qso recordis entered, Time Off is displayed  in a column labeled 'Off'. (Or if you pull up an edit view of a qso, it will be in a Box labeledTime Off.)

If you have 'auto' turned on, then the value stored in  'TimeOff'  will be automatically entered as the time when the qso islogged, or it can be overridden by a value manually entered in the TimeOff box on the main screen.

If in manual mode, the value stored in Time Off will either beblank, if there is no value manually entered, or if there is a valuemanually entered in the 'Time Off' box, then that value will bestored.

Hope  this helps

It may be hidden between the Rec and Country columns.  Try placingthe cursor on the divider between the Rec and the Country columnheaders

and double click. That should open the Off column, if it hasn't beenmoved.. You might have to try it a couple of times to get it just right.Once the column is opened, then you'll have to grab the right side of theheader and drag it right to fully open the column so you can see theheader text.

Note to Scott::  An 'unhide all hidden'  might be a usefulcommand to add somewhere.

Opps. If you closed without saving the settings, I would expect it to bewhere you first found it. On my grid, it's between Rec and Country. If Ihide it, sometimes I have to fish around for it to get it back.

Those fields (and others) will show up depending on the settingsin    Settings/Edit Fields Displayed, Position and TabOrder .

On that setup page, if the 'Visible' box is checked for that field, itwill show up on the main form.   That setup form is forboxes/fields on the bottom half of the main form. NOT for columns in thegrid.  You can see the effects by checking the box in the setup fora field that you don't normaily use, and then go back to the main screenand see it show up.
