After loading the PTF tape to bring FAL up to speed, we get the following error: hometest Running IBM VM TCP/IP R1.2.2 TCP/IP Configuration Tester TCP Host Name is: CC.NPS.NAVY.MIL Cannot use TCP/IP: Fatal inter-VM communications error * * * Fatal Configuration Error * * * Please correct your TCP/IP configuration and run this program again. The TCPIP DATA and PROFILE TCPIP configuration files are unchanged from those which have been running successfully for the past 2 years. We do not have a Hyperchannel device so did not need to change HOME, LINK and TRANSLATE in the profile. I did run SMTPRSCS to create a new SMTPRSCS HOSTINFO file, as per installation instructions. I have checked and rechecked the TCPIP configuration parameters and can find nothing wrong. What am I overlooking? Thanks in advance for hints and "gotchas". Files follow signature.
